Bill Coughran

Bill Coughran is currently the Director at Graphiant. Bill has also served on the board of LightStep from October 2019 to June 2021. Prior to that, they were a board member of Neeva, Alkira, Inc., and Lilt. Bill was also the trustee of the Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics at UCLA from October 2013 to June 2017. From January 2006 to December 2011, they were a board member of Clearwell Systems, which was sold to Symantec. Bill has also been a student programmer at California State University, Fresno from June 1968 to March 1970, developing a student grade processing and transcript system. Additionally, they have served as a board member of Vector Space Systems from June 2017 to August 2019 and Orbital Insight, Inc.

Bill Coughran received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University, an M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University, a BS with honors in Mathematics from the California Institute of Technology, and an M.S. in Mathematics from the California Institute of Technology.
