Melissa Gonzalez, CPA, AEP®, is a partner at Grassi since June 2023, where expertise lies in tax mitigation and wealth preservation strategies for high-net-worth individuals. With 25 years of experience, Melissa leads a team focused on customizing trust and estate plans to achieve specific wealth goals. Prior roles include partner and senior tax manager at Mazars USA (2016-2023), where Melissa headed the Trust and Estates Group, along with a senior tax manager position at Rynkar, Vail & Barrett, LLP (2012-2016), and a tax supervisor role at Marcum LLP (2007-2012). Earlier experience includes various tax positions at Rynkar Vail & Barrett, KPMG, and Reznick, Fedder & Silverman LLP. Melissa holds an Associate's degree in Accounting from Bentley University and graduated from Huntington High School.
