Mark Roberts CBE has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Mark is currently the Managing Director at Gravitilab Aerospace Services since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as Air Cdre at 601 Squadron RAuxAF starting from April 2021. From November 2015, they worked as the Project Director at Spaceport 1. Mark also held the position of Chairman at the Air and Space Power Association from February 2015. Before joining Gravitilab, they worked as the Director Defence and Security at RHEA Group from January 2019 to June 2022. Mark also had a significant tenure at Atkins, where they held various roles such as Business Development Director, Practice Director, and Programme Manager from 2012 to 2019. Prior to this, they served as Head of Capability, Deep Target Attack at MOD from November 2010 to June 2012. Mark's career in the Royal Air Force began in 1984, where they held positions including Director Air Staff, Station Commander, and various other roles until November 2005.

Mark Roberts CBE obtained their MA in Defence Studies from KCL / UK Defence Academy in 2000. Following this, they pursued an MBA from The Open University, which they completed in 2003.
