Dick Kramlich attended Northwestern University and Harvard Business School before moving to San Francisco in 1969, to become business partners with Arthur Rock. Dick then founded New Enterprise Associates (NEA) in 1978, which grew to become one of the world’s largest venture capital funds today. He is now Chairman Emeritus of NEA; and Chairman and CEO of Kramlich Investment Company and Green Bay Ventures, two complimentary funds Dick started. He currently serves on the boards of New Art Trust, Tri Alpha Technologies, Smart Drive, Visual Edge Technology, and Sierra Monitor.
