Tyree Barnes

Tyree Barnes has extensive experience in education and leadership, currently serving as Co-Director, Teacher of Mathematics, and Parent & Policy Advocate at Great Oaks Legacy Charter School since July 2013. Prior roles include serving as an Americorps Tutor and Assistant to the Executive Director at Great Oaks Charter School from August 2012 to 2013, and working as an Educational Opportunity Peer Counselor at Rider University from June 2009 to 2011. Additional experience includes a position as Digital Imaging Specialist at Best Buy, where coordination of photographic supplies occurred, and an earlier role as Educational Opportunity Peer Counselor at Rider University in 2008, showcasing leadership by overseeing incoming students. Tyree Barnes earned a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from Rider University between 2007 and 2011 and completed education at Relay Graduate School of Education from 2014 to 2016, following a high school education focused on Instrumental Music.
