Geoffrey Gauthier is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commercial management and business development within the shipping and maritime sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Commercial and New Business Development for Shipping and Maritime at Shell since June 2009, Geoffrey oversees all commercial activities across the Americas, supporting various Shell businesses including Trading, Wind, LNG, and Electrification. Previous roles include General Manager of the Elba Island LNG Venture, where Geoffrey led commercial efforts for a significant liquefaction project, and Asset Manager for US GOM Pipelines, responsible for the profitability of offshore pipeline assets. Additionally, Geoffrey has contributed to onshore crude pipeline project development and served on the Executive Board of Shell Energy North America. Geoffrey holds an MBA in Corporate Finance and Operations Management from Purdue University and a B.A. in International Relations from Boston University.
