The Greater Kansas City Community Foundation has ranked among the top 1 percent of community foundations in America since 1999, delivering innovative products and services that make charitable giving convenient and efficient for donors. The Community Foundation knows that every gift matters – no matter how big or small – and encourages donors to maximize their giving and support the causes they care about through charitable giving accounts, also known as donor-advised funds. 

In 2004, the Community Foundation created Greater Horizons (www.greaterhorizons.org) to serve those who wish to use the Community Foundation's products and services with the flexibility of a national entity.
