Tom Addison

Tom Addison is an experienced professional in the fields of local economic strategy and policy development, currently serving as the Local Economic Strategy Principal (Low Carbon Economy) at Greater Manchester Combined Authority since April 2023. Prior to this role, Tom worked as a Senior Policy Adviser at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) from October 2021 to April 2023 and held the position of Senior Manager at Dow Schofield Watts from February 2018 to October 2020. Tom's career began at Deloitte, where an initial role in the audit department transitioned to Corporate Finance - Transaction Services, culminating in a promotion to Assistant Director in September 2016. Tom holds a Master's degree in Politics from The University of Manchester and a BA in Economics from Nottingham Trent University, with educational roots at Knutsford High School. Tom is also ACA qualified, achieving this certification in 2012.
