At GGF, we are dedicated to the conservation and sustainable use of the resources of the Peruvian Amazon rainforest and support the development of local populations in the areas of direct influence. Our work seeks the integral use of the forest, its protection and the use, conservation, recovery and restoration of its ecological functions. These activities involve active planning and engagement with indigenous communities to develop sustainable economic opportunities and resilience to climate change.

Our overall mission is broken down into four axes: conservation of ecosystem services, sustainable use of natural resources, community development and inclusion, and research, development and innovation.

💼Conservation Project with USAID: With USAID support and funding, we are implementing the project: "Sustainable Management of Forest Concessions" in the Amazon Rainforest of Peru. The objective of the project is to demonstrate that forestry companies can successfully develop and implement innovative multi-source forest management models that generate positive economic and environmental outcomes, while generating sustained benefits for forest communities and biodiversity.
