Lorenzo Valzania has a diverse work experience in various scientific and technological roles. Lorenzo began their career as a Student Intern at ESRF - The European Synchrotron in 2014. Then, from 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Graduate Researcher at Empa, where they conducted research in their field. Following that, Lorenzo joined Laboratoire Kastler Brossel in 2019 as a Research Fellow, where they continued their research work until 2022. Currently, they are employed at Greenerwave as an Algorithm and Modelling Engineer.
Lorenzo Valzania obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics from the University of Bern, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering Physics from Politecnico di Milano, attending the institution from 2012 to 2015. Lorenzo had also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering Physics from the same university, where they studied from 2009 to 2012.
Additionally, Lorenzo Valzania has acquired additional certifications. In April 2023, they completed a course on "Deep Neural Networks with PyTorch" from Coursera. In March 2023, they also obtained a "Deep Learning Specialization" from the same institution.
