Prior to this, Amarnath held the position of Finance Manager at Keystones Infra-Con (India) Private Limited from July 2014 to August 2015 and worked as Assistant Manager of Finance at Phoenix Group in Hyderabad from November 2009 to July 2014. Amarnath's educational background includes obtaining a Chartered Accountant designation from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (2004-2009), completing a Diploma in International Financial Reporting from ACCA in 2018, and achieving an executive level qualification from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India in 2020. Amarnath also holds a B.Com degree from Kakatiya University and attended Sri Aurobindo High School from 1988 to 2001.
