We are now hiring year-round, so it’s always a great time to join GPD!  Our officers patrol designated areas of the city and are responsible for the prevention of crime, investigation of offenses, and apprehension of violators. Officers also respond to automobile accidents, crimes in progress and other emergency situations, and are required to exercise judgment and initiative in handling both routine and complex problems.
