Honit Piplani

Honit Piplani is an accomplished professional in translational and clinical science with significant experience in research and academia. Currently serving as the Director of Translational and Clinical Science and Senior Scientist at Greenstone Biosciences, Honit focuses on clinical trial protocol development for novel therapies targeting fibrosis and inflammation. As an Assistant Professor-in-Residence at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and previously at Cedars-Sinai, Honit has led NIH and Department of Defense-funded research initiatives totaling $4 million, exploring fibrosis, autophagy, and inflammation in various diseases. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Research Associate at Stanford University, where expertise in cardiovascular injury was developed, and a Doctoral Student at Panjab University, culminating in a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology.
