Denise Hagen is a Partnerships Coordinator at Greentown Labs. Prior to their current position, they served as the Director of Environmental Affairs for Boston University Student Government and as a Team Lead for Patagonia. Denise also interned with Sea Grant Guam. In their role as Director of Environmental Affairs, Denise oversaw a staff of 6 members and started an online series called "Terrier Trash Talk Tuesdays" which discussed waste on campus through food, incorrectly sorted recycling, and other important issues. Denise also started a petition for better accessibility to recycling in large dorms and successfully hosted a clothing swap as an educational opportunity about clothing waste. As a Team Lead for Patagonia, Denise supported the Retail Environmental Program through product donation, outreach, tabling, and running the retail grants program. Denise also successfully managed the Retail Marketing Program, overseeing a staff that ran store Instagrams and managing a newsletter with over 15,000 recipients. In addition, Denise led a team of customer experience guides through training, operations, repairs, and their development. As an intern with Sea Grant Guam, Denise had the opportunity to work on various environmental projects. Denise's experience and dedication to environmental causes makes their an asset to Greentown Labs.
Denise Hagen has a Bachelor of Science from Boston University in International Relations and Affairs. Denise also has a High School Diploma from Academy of Our Lady of Guam.
Denise Hagen reports to Jenn Ibañez, Director, Partnerships. They are on a team with Nour Ghadanfar - Senior Manager, Partnerships, Marinna Teixeira - Senior Program Manager, Partnerships, and Jesse Roth - Partnerships Manager.
