With expertise in entity structure, mergers, acquisitions, and both trust and individual tax matters, Charles has a robust background in succession and estate planning, particularly in assisting family-owned businesses with ownership transitions to younger generations. Prior to joining GreerWalker LLP, Charles was a Tax Manager at Deloitte LLP from 1974 to 1984. Charles holds a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Business/Management from the Clemson-Furman Program and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Furman University.
