Alison Schneider serves as the Canadian Representative for Ceres, Inc. and holds the position of Senior Fellow at GRESB, as well as a University Lecturer at the University of Alberta since January 2024. Between August 2011 and June 2022, Alison was Vice-President of Responsible Investment at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo), where responsibilities included leading the Responsible Investment function, integrating environmental, social, and governance factors into investment processes, and managing stakeholder engagement. Alison's career also includes roles as Director and Senior Manager within the Responsible Investment Department at AIMCo, where significant policies and frameworks were developed and implemented. Previously, Alison held sales management positions with Nelson Education, Great Opportunities of Canada, and Southwestern Publishing Company. Alison holds a Corporate Governance designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors, a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Alberta, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from The University of British Columbia.
