Honey Elias has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and organizations. Honey most recently worked at greymatter.io, starting in October 2020 as a VP | Technical Operations and later promoted to Senior Vice President Operations in September 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Data & Partnerships Liaison at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence from June 2018 to October 2020, where they focused on strengthening public/private partnerships for maritime conservation and ocean research. From 2007 to 2018, they worked at the United States Department of Defense in various roles, including Lead Program Manager, Branch Chief, Section Chief, and Senior Information Technology Specialist. Honey also had a brief stint as a Special Assistant to the Director at Homeland Security Institute, Analytic Services Inc. in 2007. Earlier in their career, they worked at ANSER, Analytic Services, Inc. as a Senior Analyst and IT Analyst/Trainer, where they analyzed software applications and provided customer support for IT infrastructure and business systems. Overall, Honey Elias has gained extensive experience in operations, partnerships, program management, customer service, and IT infrastructure analysis throughout their career.
Honey Elias has an extensive education history in the field of information technology. Honey obtained a Chief Information Officer Certificate from the National Defense University/Information Resources Management College from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Computer Resources & Information Management from Webster University between 2002 and 2005. Honey also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems from Bowie State University, which they earned from 2000 to 2002. Honey'seducation journey began at Comiso American High School, although specific dates are unavailable. Honey Elias further enhanced their qualifications by completing the Chief Information Officer Certificate Program at NDU College of Information and Cyberspace, earning the certification in December 2016.
