Michael Skelly is the Co Founder and CEO of Grid United LLC, an early stage transmission development company focused on building America's next generation energy infrastructure. Prior to this, Michael worked as a Senior Advisor at Lazard, where he advised companies on renewable energy and sustainability. He also served as a Principal at Clean Line Energy Partners, an independent developer of transmission lines for renewable energy. Michael ran for the US Congress in the 7th District of Texas and won the silver medal. As the Chief Development Officer at Horizon Wind Energy, he led the company's growth from a two-man operation into a multi-billion dollar company. Additionally, Michael was a Partner and General Manager at Rain Forest Aerial Tram in Costa Rica, providing visitors with an unforgettable tour through the rain forest. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
