Griffiss Institute
Makenzi Enos has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Currently, they work as a Talent Division Program Analyst at Griffiss Institute since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Student Success Coordinator at the same company from December 2022 to March 2023.
Before joining Griffiss Institute, Makenzi worked as a NYS Licensed Real Estate Agent at River Hills Properties LLC starting from August 2022.
In terms of their earlier roles, Makenzi was a Special Education Teacher at Upstate Cerebral Palsy from October 2020 to January 2023. Before that, they served as a Marketing and Events Coordinator at the City of Rome New York from February 2017 to October 2020.
Makenzi also gained experience as a Staff Photojournalist at Rome Daily Sentinel from May 2012 to January 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Substitute TA at Rome City Schools from September 2015 to September 2016.
Makenzi Enos has a diverse education history. Makenzi first attended Mohawk Valley Community College from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Certificate in Photography and an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Marketing. In 2014, they enrolled in SUNY Empire State College and graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. Makenzi then pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Special Education and Teaching at Purdue University from 2016 to 2018. Makenzi returned to Purdue University in 2016 to continue their studies in the same program, though the end year is not provided.
Griffiss Institute
The Griffiss Institute (GI) was established in 2002 as an independent 501(c)(3) entity governed by a Board of Directors. The primary role of the GI is to advocate and facilitate the co-operation of private industry, academia and government in developing solutions to critical cyber security problems. Another prime role is to build upontechnologies under development at the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) Information Directorate to further strengthen the security of our nation's cyber infrastructure.By partnering AFRL with private industry and academia the Griffiss Institute is able to facilitate and grow the technology base of the Upstate NY region. We are focused on providing an environment conducive to the growth of technology and ideas by creating a collaborative research environment accessible to AFRL, local business and academia with the expressed goals of fostering research leading to new solutions in information assurance and spinning out new business opportunities.Member of the Business Incubation Association of New York State.
