Brysen Nixon is an experienced farm manager with a background in managing both conventional and organic vegetable farming operations at Grimmway Farms since November 2019. Prior to this role, Nixon served as the manager for Bel-Lehr Organics, overseeing all aspects of the organic vegetable division from planting to harvesting, and managing cold storage operations from September 2016 to November 2019. Nixon's experience also includes a four-year tenure with the US Coast Guard as an electrician and boat engineer from January 2012 to September 2016. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from Southern New Hampshire University, an Electricians Certificate from the US Coast Guard Electricians Mate "A" School, a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Maine, and an Associate’s Degree in Animal Sciences from Bakersfield College.
