Mariya Lapteva is an accomplished architect with a robust background in architectural design and assistance. Currently employed at Grimshaw since August 2018, Mariya has held previous positions as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant at Architecture Initiative and as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant at Avanti Architects Limited. Early experiences include work as a Work Experience Student at xsite architecture and Ryder Architecture. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Newcastle University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, along with a Bachelor of Architecture from Newcastle University. Mariya's foundational education includes high school studies at the American College of Sofia in Bulgaria and specialized arts education at Dobri Hristov National School of Arts in Varna.
