Rafael collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to align roadmaps and accelerate product development, ensuring customer success.

Before joining GRIN, Rafael served as a Technical Advisor at Plataforma Impact, contributing their expertise to turn aspiring individuals from underserved communities in Brazil into skilled software developers.

Prior to that, Rafael worked as the Senior Director of Engineering at Subject, overseeing the entire engineering department and ensuring top-notch, scalable software solutions. Rafael also served as the Sr. Director of Engineering and Head of Engineering, Latin America at Route, where they led engineering teams, aligned roadmaps, and enhanced product features to drive customer success. Rafael played a vital role in expanding teams in Costa Rica and Brazil and cultivating a strong company culture.

Earlier in their career, Rafael worked at ThoughtLab as the Software Engineering Manager, providing technical leadership and mentorship to the team. Rafael also worked on various challenging projects, developing robust applications for clients using Angular, NativeScript, Electron, and React.

Before that, they co-founded A Figueira, where they served as the Chief Technology Officer and built a successful company that delivered exceptional digital experiences to clients across Brazil.
