Johny Smith

Johny Smith is an accomplished executive with extensive leadership experience in the transportation and logistics sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Grindrod Rail since April 2023, Johny previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at TRANSNAMIB LIMITED from February 2018 to April 2023, and at the Walvis Bay Corridor Group from April 2006 to January 2018. Educational qualifications include a B Com degree from the University of Cape Town and a B Comm in Commerce from the University of the Western Cape.
