Shaun Cato

Shaun Cato is a seasoned logistics professional with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. As Business Unit Manager at Grindrod Logistics Automotive since September 2007, Shaun oversees various storage depots, finance and administration, operations management, and customer care, while ensuring compliance with SHERQ and ISO standards. Prior to this role, Shaun spent over 13 years with the South African National Defence Force, initially as Commodity Manager responsible for a substantial inventory and multiple departments, and later as an Officer Instructor, training both Junior and Senior Officers in various aspects of logistics and operational planning. Shaun's educational background includes multiple degrees in logistics from Tshwane University of Technology and the University of Pretoria.
