Rebecca Vaernes

Rebecca Vaernes is a highly experienced accounting professional with a robust background in corporate accounting and international finance. Currently serving as Senior Director of Corporate Accounting at Grocery Outlet since July 2020, Rebecca previously held positions at McKesson from January 2012 to July 2020, including Director of International Accounting and Senior Manager in the International Accounting Group. Earlier experience includes serving as Risk Control Group Manager at McKesson and as a Sr. Accounting Analyst at AutoReturn. Rebecca began her career at Deloitte, first as Audit Intern and then as Senior Audit Associate. Educational qualifications include a BA in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from UC Santa Barbara, alongside studies at the University of Stirling and Granite Bay High School.
