The world’s first porridge bar “GRØD” opened its doors on September 24th 2011 on Jægersborggade, in the Nørrebro-district of Copenhagen. The company has grown steadily since. We now operate 6 restaurants in Denmark (5 in Copenhagen and 1 in Århus), and market high quality instant porridge, granola and grains in 7Eleven, high-end retailers and in our webshop. The ambitions are huge and international, but the aim is still the same: making great porridge in a fun and caring environment, and changing people’s perspective about the dish once known to be simple and boring.
