Dan Shoop is an experienced technology leader specializing in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps. Currently serving as Senior Manager of SRE at GroundTruth since February 2022, Dan manages teams that deliver cloud operations support and infrastructure engineering for software development, data engineering, and data science. Prior roles include leading Venmo's first SRE team, advancing operational readiness at HBO, and managing technical projects at iHeartMedia and US Technical Services. Dan's extensive background includes founding and leading consulting firms, technical operations at Sesame Workshop, and initiatives in web technology and eCommerce for various organizations. Dan holds an educational background from the University of Hartford and pursued specialized training in Terraform and data presentation from Hashicorp and Edward Tufte.
