Hakeem Almabrazi

Hakeem Almabrazi is a seasoned bioinformatics professional with extensive experience in the field of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Bioinformatics professional at G42 since June 2021, Hakeem specializes in designing and architecting bioinformatics platforms to process and analyze NGS data. Prior to this role, Hakeem worked as a Senior Software Architect at Sidra Medical and Research Center, focusing on developing pipelines and tools for NGS data analysis. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Research Scientist at Integrated DNA Technologies and as Application Development and Support III at The University of Iowa, where Hakeem collaborated with scientific teams on various research initiatives. Hakeem holds a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University.
