Harvey Smith is a seasoned professional in operations research and wargame design, currently serving as a Senior Wargame Designer and Operations Research Systems Analyst at Group W since February 2022. Previously, Harvey held roles as a Senior Operations Research/Wargaming Analyst at the U.S. Army Center for Army Analysis, leading teams to support senior Army leadership with critical mission analysis. Harvey's expertise includes strategic political-military wargaming analysis for The Joint Staff and developing manpower forecasting programs for HQDA DCS G-1. Military experience includes commanding a Ground Cavalry Troop and serving as an Observer/Controller at the National Training Center. Harvey holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Operations Research from George Mason University, an MBA in Finance and International Business, and two Bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Delaware.
