Jon Schausten

Jon Schausten, CPP, currently serves as the Director of Payroll at Group 1001, having begun this role in April 2024. Previously, Jon held the position of Director of Payroll and HR Services at OneAmerica from April 2019 to April 2024, where responsibilities included managing a team overseeing payroll operations for 2,500 associates across 41 states and directing various leave programs in compliance with applicable laws. Jon's experience also encompasses roles such as Payroll and HRIS Manager at Vertellus, Senior Payroll Administrator at Arbonne, Payroll Consultant/Project Manager at AccuPay, and Payroll Supervisor & Staff Accountant at The Steak n Shake Company, among others. Jon earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Marian University Indianapolis between 2003 and 2007.
