Jonathan Fergus

Jonathan Fergus is a Corporate Counsel specializing in Intellectual Property at Group 1001 since December 2022. Previous experience includes roles as an Associate Attorney at McDonald Hopkins LLC and Buckley King, focusing on intellectual property, corporate formation, and business litigation. Jonathan's legal background also encompasses document review for mass tort litigation at Litigation Management, an internship in the Trademark Clinic at Emerson Thomson Bennett, and research and drafting for the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts. In addition to legal expertise, Jonathan has served as a District Outreach Representative for Congressman David P. Joyce and contributed to the success of Ohio High School Division I State Championship football teams as an Assistant Football Coach. Jonathan holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from The University of Akron with a focus on Intellectual Property Law and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Cleveland State University.
