Damon Chau has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Damon started their career in 2015 as an Automation Developer for Team 4001, RetroRams, working on the FIRST Robotics Competition. In 2016, they served as a Software Developer/Test Intern at NCR Corporation and later as a Research Assistant/Web Developer at the University of Waterloo.
In 2017, Damon joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Web Application Developer, and in 2018, they interned as a Software Developer Intern at the same company. Damon also worked as a Full-stack Developer at GroupBy Inc. for a brief period in 2018.
Damon then joined Huawei as an Autonomous Vehicle Engineer in 2019 before transitioning to PwC Canada as an Associate in September 2020. Shortly after, they returned to GroupBy Inc., where they held various roles, including Solution Architect, ETL Developer, and currently Senior ETL Developer.
Damon Chau completed their high school education from St. Robert Catholic High School from the year 2011 to 2015. Damon then pursued an Engineer's Degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where they studied from 2015 to 2020.
