The name Socota has been synonymous with textiles ever since its creation in 1930, as Société Commerciale de Tananarive, a classic trading house and fabric importer. As the company’s industrial business grew - from a local grey-fabric manufacturer in the 1950s to a design-driven, vertically integrated textile and garment manufacturer - what started as a proud family tradition blossomed into our undying passion. We take pride today in having earned the trust of some of the greatest names in European, US and South African retail.
