Vaclav Borkovec is a professional with extensive experience in technology and product development, particularly in the electronic cigarette and vertical farming sectors. Currently serving as a Tech Farmer at Growy since September 2022, Borkovec previously held various positions at Fontem Ventures B.V., including Technology Implementation Engineer, Product Manager for Devices and Strategy, and Manufacturing Realisation Project Engineer from March 2016 to July 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Product Developer at Visdeal from June 2021 to July 2022 and as a Next Generation Product Prototyping Engineer during a five-year tenure at Imperial Tobacco, focusing on electronic cigarette R&D. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leeds, earned from 2007 to 2011, and prior education at Bryanston School from 2002 to 2007.
