Raj Kannan

Raj Kannan is an accomplished sales professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as Cluster Commercial Head at GRT Hotels & Resorts since June 2015, Raj has also held the position of Cluster Sales Manager within the company. Prior to this, Raj worked at ZIBE by GRT Hotels & Resorts from May 2015 to April 2022, focusing on sales for the new smart stay hotel brand. Previous roles include Sales positions at Leonia Holistic Destination and various sales management roles at GRT Hotels & Resorts, where responsibilities included exploring new accounts, market research, and developing sales strategies. Raj began a career in sales as a Relationship Manager at S.K. International, overseeing the Chennai office, enhancing client relationships, and negotiating competitive rates. Raj holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Madras, completed in 2003.
