Philipp Schaffrath

Philipp Schaffrath currently serves as Senior Vice President of Global Operations Strategy & Development and previously held the role of Head of Global Procurement & External Supply Operations at Die Grünenthal Gruppe since January 2017. Prior to this, Philipp worked at E.ON from May 2012 to December 2016 as Director of Procurement for the Business Area Renewables, where responsibilities included developing a global sourcing organization and managing key supplier relationships. Philipp also gained experience at Booz & Company from November 2008 to April 2012 as a Senior Associate, leading consulting teams on operations projects. Earlier in Philipp’s career, from February 2006 to October 2008, experience was gained in Global Project Purchasing at BMW Group, where responsibilities encompassed project purchasing during the product development phase.
