Alvaro Baón

Alvaro Baón serves as the Finance Director for EMEA at Grupo Bimbo, overseeing a turnover of approximately 1.4 billion Euros since October 2022. Previously, Alvaro held significant roles including Head of Controlling at Zamora Company, where responsibilities encompassed financial reporting and the development of a three-year division strategy. Other relevant experiences include Management Controller at Maxxium España SL, Business Controller within Heineken Spain, and dual roles at Johnson & Johnson. Alvaro began a career in financial management at Diageo and Hyundai Motor Spain, contributing to corporate strategy and financial performance improvements. With a strong academic background, Alvaro holds master's degrees in Business Administration and Management as well as Marketing from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and ESIC Business & Marketing School.
