Grupo Financiero Multiva SAB de CV is a Mexico-based holding company principally engaged, through its subsidiaries, in the financial sector. The Company owns such subsidiaries as Banco Multiva SA, a financial institution active in the banking sector; Casa de Bolsa Multiva SA de CV, a brokerage house; Multivalores Servicios Corporativos SA de CV, an entity engaged in the provision of administrative services, and Seguros Multiva SA de CV, an insurance company. As of December 31, 2011, the Company also owned other subsidiaries, such as Multias SA de CV, Multifondo Institucional SA de CV, Multifondo de Ahorradores SA de CV, Multifondo Patrimonial SA de CV, Multisi SA de CV, Multirentable SA de CV, Multifondo Empresarial SA de CV and Multifondo de Alto Rendimiento SA de CV, and Grupo Empresarial Angeles SA de CV which was its majority shareholder with 53.02% of its interest.
