Alvaro Lopez Sanchez

Alvaro Lopez Sanchez is the M&A and Corporate Development Director at Grupo Proeza since February 2019, with previous roles as M&A Director and Portfolio Strategy Director. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Investment Banking at Santander Bank, N.A. from October 2014 to February 2019, specializing in advisory, structuring, and origination in areas such as M&A, Acquisition and Leveraged Finance, Syndicated Loans, and Private Debt. Earlier positions were held at Citi from September 2007 to October 2014 as a Business Credit Officer and Senior Credit Risk Analyst. Alvaro holds an MBA with a Certificate of Academic Excellence in Finance from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, an Oxford Chicago Valuation Programme certification from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance with Honors from Universidad Panamericana, along with a Diploma in Portfolio Management from IEB.
