Amit Baruch

Amit Baruch is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as the VP of Engineering at GSI Technology since June 2025, focusing on Video-Language Model inference and memory-centric processing technologies. Previously, Amit held the position of VP of Engineering at Yotpo, where responsibilities included platform engineering and data science transformation. Amit also co-founded a stealth-stage algo trading startup and served as Director of Engineering at Citi, leading innovation in capital markets technology. With a robust background at Intel Corporation as VP of Engineering and at Samsung Electronics as Director of R&D, Amit has consistently driven advancements in image processing, software engineering, and product development. Amit holds a B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from Ben-Gurion University and an M.B.A. from Edinburgh Business School.
