Philippe Bellordre

Philippe Bellordre has had extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Philippe began their career at France Telecom Innovation as an Innovation Project Manager, where they identified and implemented business development opportunities. Philippe then moved on to Orange France, where they served as a Senior Manager in project and business development for innovative mobile and convergent data products. In this role, they analyzed the market, developed service roadmaps, and presented strategy proposals to top management. Philippe also worked as a Senior Manager in Network Strategic Planning and Cost Modelling at Orange France.

In 2010, Philippe pursued their MBA at Warwick Business School, graduating with distinction. Philippe then went on to complete an exchange program at AGSM MBA Programs in 2011.

Philippe joined GSMA in 2012 and held various positions, including Senior Project Manager for the Future Communications program, Senior Programme Manager for Mobile Money, and Programme Director for Mobile for Development. In their most recent role as Head of Operations and GSMA Innovation Fund (GSMA Foundation), they were responsible for the operational management of the GSMA Mobile for Development department, as well as managing the activities of the Foundation and ensuring compliance. Philippe also managed monitoring and evaluation activities for the M4D department.

Philippe Bellordre has a strong educational background in business and telecommunications. Philippe obtained a Full-Time MBA from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School in 2011 and an additional MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School in the same year. Prior to that, they earned an MSc with commendation in Communication Systems and Signal Processing from the University of Bristol in 1998. Philippe also holds a French Graduate Engineering Degree in Telecommunications from ENST Bretagne, which they completed in 1997. In terms of certifications, they have achieved a Chartered Manager, Level 5 Leadership and Management certification from the Chartered Management Institute in 2020. Philippe also holds an MSP Practitioner certification from SPOCE Project Management Ltd.
