​The Georgetown University Eating Society (GUES) is a tightly-knit, 200+ member organization dedicated to creating a sense of community among Georgetown students through the exploration of diverse cultures and cuisines. 

More than just a cooking club, we embrace all aspects of the culinary journey through a series of engaging events for our members, including weekly restaurant events across the DC area featuring chef Q&A’s, cooking demonstrations, volunteer work addressing food insecurity, cultural festival visits, and community-building activities. Through these experiences, GUES aims to break down cultural barriers and build bridges through a shared appreciation for cuisine. 

Beyond a love for food, our commitment to open-mindedness, inclusivity, passion, sincerity, and diverse community-building forms the foundation of our connectivity. In GUES, we take pride in creating a welcoming space where everyone not only has a seat at the table but is also valued for the unique perspectives they bring to the feast of community and connection.
