Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority
Lisa Walzem is an accomplished Office Administrator with extensive experience in administrative roles. Currently serving at the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority since January 2019, Lisa has previously held positions as an Administrative Assistant, Volunteer Coordinator, and Tours Coordinator at St. John's Episcopal Church in New Braunfels, TX, from April 2014 to January 2019. Lisa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a focus on Public Relations from California State University, Fresno, between 1984 and 1988. Additionally, foundational education was completed at Clovis West High School.
Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority
GBRA provides stewardship for the water resources in its ten-county statutory district, which begins near the headwaters of the Guadalupe and Blanco Rivers, ends at San Antonio Bay, and includes Kendall, Comal, Hays, Caldwell, Guadalupe, Gonzales, DeWitt, Victoria, Calhoun and Refugio counties. Planning and resource development efforts are carefully coordinated within the broader consideration of regional and statewide water needs in order to fulfill GBRA's primary responsibilities of developing, conserving and protecting the water resources of the Guadalupe River Basin.
