Alexander al-Hamdan

Alexander Al-Hamdan is a highly experienced software engineer and creative director with a strong background in software development and digital media. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at Rate since August 2020, Alexander has held various engineering roles throughout the career, including Lead Software Engineer and Software Engineer. Previously, at LearnCore, Alexander excelled as Front-End Engineering Lead and Design Director, contributing to the design and development of an online training platform that supported over 20,000 users and played a pivotal role in the company's $50 million acquisition. Alexander also founded Arccentric, a company focused on web applications, and co-founded Cinaesthetic Films, leading creative efforts in VFX and CGI. Earlier experience includes architectural design roles at 4240 Architecture and Valerio Dewalt Train. Alexander holds a B.A in Architecture and German from the University of Illinois Chicago.
