Sadique Ali Koothumadan

Sadique Ali Koothumadan is a seasoned technology professional with significant experience in engineering leadership. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Guaranteed Rate since January 2022, Sadique is responsible for the design and architecture of an automated lending platform, overseeing platform and cloud infrastructure. Prior to this role, Sadique was with PayPal, where positions included Segment Tech Lead, Senior Staff Engineer, and Tech Lead for the Bank Payments team at Braintree. Earlier in the career at ThoughtWorks, Sadique advanced from Software Engineer to Lead Software Engineer, contributing to complex problem-solving and software delivery improvements while also facilitating the transition of Mingle to a SaaS model on AWS. Sadique holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from the University of Kerala, obtained in 2009.
