"guard.me is a solutions-focused health and wellness insurance provider for international students, staff, and schools. Our dedicated team understands the exciting journey international students are on, and how an unexpected medical bill or mental health concern can stop it. No matter the situation, we care to look for solutions. After twenty-five years in the industry, we know how to provide solutions that care for the entire student journey. Our dedicated team focuses on finding solutions so students can focus on their studies, not medical bills. We believe that students should be cared for from the start of their studies, not only after something happens. Caring for students both physically and mentally is essential to help them achieve their academic goals. guard.me is proud to be the first student health insurance provider with a strong focus on mental wellness and two dedicated programs for staff and students’ well-being. The keep.meSAFE program was created with students in mind, to help them navigate the complex circumstances that come with living and studying in a new country. Whether this is exam stress, feeling homesick, or just needing someone to talk to about their experiences, keep.meSAFE has resources that help students feel more comfortable using mental health support during their studies. For our partners at schools and institutions, there is the Wellness and Learning Initiatives Program. This program was created to support students by teaching their organizations about building awareness around mental health and wellness. To ensure the safety of our users' data, we take privacy seriously. In 2022, guard.me became the first company in the industry to obtain ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications. These audits ensure that we are meeting the criteria for managing customer data based on five trust service principles: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. "
