Manuel Hidalgo Medina

Manuel Hidalgo Medina, MD, PhD, currently serves as a Board Member at Guardant Health and a member of the Board of Directors for the American Association of Cancer Research. Since 2019, Manuel has held the positions of Professor of Medicine and Chief of Hematology and Oncology at Weill Cornell Medicine. Additionally, involvement with Bristol Myers Squibb as a Board member began in June 2021. Previously, roles included Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Group Leader at Hospital Universitario de Fuenlabrada, Chief of the Division of Hematology and Oncology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Vice Director at the CNIO - Spanish National Cancer Research Centre. Educational qualifications encompass a Medical Doctor degree from the University of Navarra, a PhD in Medicine from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, a Fellowship in Medical Oncology from UT Health San Antonio, residency in Medical Oncology at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, along with a recent certificate in Corporate Director from Harvard Business School.
