Jeffrey Giovannelli

Jeffrey Giovannelli is an experienced executive in the insurance and health industries, currently serving as the Head of Distribution Operations & Partner Management and Head of Commercial Strategy & Field Operations at Guardian Life since July 2023. Prior to this, Jeffrey held the position of Senior Vice President of Strategy & Alignment at Optum Behavioral Health Solutions from September 2020 to June 2023. At Lincoln Financial Group, Jeffrey was Vice President of Distribution Strategy, Planning, & Shared Services for Group Protection from May 2018 to September 2020, and previously served as Vice President & Managing Director of LMB Ideas at Liberty Mutual Insurance from July 2010 to April 2018, where oversight included strategy and innovation for benefit organizations. Early career positions include various roles at CNA, Encompass Insurance, and Allstate Insurance, culminating in a wealth of expertise in strategy, marketing, and business development. Jeffrey holds an MBA in Finance, Strategy, and Management from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Management Sciences & Information Systems from Penn State University.
