Hannah Cho is a freelance journalist currently contributing to The Guardian since September 2023. Concurrently, Hannah serves as an associate at Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism, assisting Professor Azmat Khan with the "Conflict Reporting & OSINT Techniques" course since January 2022. As a graduate student, Hannah has reported on diverse topics including decriminalization legislation in New York and issues affecting Ukrainian refugees. Prior experience includes a role as a general assignment reporter at VTDigger, where Hannah covered significant events such as Vermont's flooding response and investigated local political issues. Previous positions include research associate at SparkLabs Group, where support was provided to startup founders, and internships at Interbrand and Basic Books, focusing on branding and editorial work. Hannah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative Literature and a Master of Science in Journalism, both from Columbia University.
