Equipped with the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies, the facility offers comprehensive services in virtually all veterinary disciplines, including Emergency and Critical Care 24/7/365, as well as specialty services in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Oncology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, Diagnostic Imaging and Dermatology. Guardian even has its own on-site diagnostic laboratory, Bloodhound Laboratories, which also extends its services to local veterinary hospitals.

Guardian Veterinary Specialists is founded by Jason Berg, DVM, DACVIM, a highly respected, board certified neurologist and internist with over 17 years’ experience in practice and as a veterinary business founder and owner. The recipient of numerous awards, a published author and much sought after lecturer, Dr. Berg has also received much recognition for his compassionate work with animal shelters and the rescue community.
GVS serves referring veterinarians, pet owners and pets in Putnam, Dutchess, Westchester, Fairfield, Litchfield, Orange, Rockland and Bronx counties.
